In this role, you help them create, you form warm, ongoing relationships with them, and help Mentors offer a wide range of arts projects and activities at Many Colors. You will receive training to equip you to serve adults who need extra support because of cognitive or neurosensory special needs.

If you are actively engaged and accomplished in an artistic endeavor, spend time with our Artists demonstrating, coaching, and encouraging them to work creatively in the medium you care passionately about.  You, too, will receive training to equip you to serve adults who need extra support because of cognitive or neurosensory special needs.

Arts Program Developer

We’re seeking a creative, skilled artist or arts educator to design a studio-based arts program for adults who are neurodivergent and/or cognitively differently abled.

This role focuses on real artistic practice building a structured, supportive studio where participants grow in skill, expression, and community.

Details:

  • Contract (with potential for permanent part-time and potential to grow)
  • Mondays & Wednesdays, 8:30 AM–3:30 PM plus 4 flex hours per week
  • $25–$35/hour (based on experience)

We’re looking for someone who: 

  • Has experience teaching structured arts instruction
  • Brings strong artistic skill in at least one medium
  • Can design engaging, adaptive, high-quality arts programming
  • Values creativity, dignity, and collaboration

Experience with neurodivergent adults is a plus (or willingness to learn).
